No. You can make an appointment without a referral. We do however accept referrals from your doctor, specialist, health professional, coach or personal trainer.

What do I need to bring?

Yourself! It is best to wear comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict your ability to move. Bring your Medicare card, Private Health Insurance card and preferred payment method. You may also wish to bring a towel and water bottle.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

During your first appointment you can expect to discuss:

  • Your medical history, including injuries, illnesses and medications

  • Your goals, what you want to achieve

  • Your motivation, why you want to do it

  • Your barriers, what will stop you from doing it

We may also measure

  • weight and body composition
  • posture and gait
  • movement
  • strength
How do I pay?

Payment is required at the time of your appointment. We offer on-the-spot claiming for private health and EFTPOS for your convenience

Do you have HICAPS?

Yes! HICAPS is available for Private Health Insurance claiming at the time of your appointment. Please note rebates vary between funds and levels of cover.

What is your cancellation policy?

Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we ask that you notify us 24 hours prior to your appointment start time. This ensures sufficient time to offer your appointment to someone else. Late cancellations and non-attendance fees are charged at 100% of the appointment booked.

How long are the appointments?

Our appointment times are very generous! Your first appointment is 60 minutes, subsequent appointments are 30 minutes.

We also offer 60 minute home visits. All of our classes are 60 minutes long.

What is Exercise Physiology?

Not many people know what an Exercise Physiologist is, we are often mistaken for physiotherapists or personal trainers.  Accredited Exercise Physiologists are university qualified and recognised by the government as allied health professionals, who provide exercise and lifestyle therapies to help you rehabilitate your injuries, best manage your chronic conditions and reach your health and fitness goals.

Without sitting down to discuss your individual needs and goals we are unable to give you a clear answer. Please come along and try a class or book a 1-1 appointment with one of our physios or exercise physiologist so we can best direct you.

How big are your classes?

We purposely cap our classes to keep them small, with a maximum of 14 people. This is to ensure we can keep an eye on you and make sure you are moving well!

Where do you get your uniforms from?

When we were deciding on uniforms, we wanted something we could move easily in, would last and still look professional. For that reason, we chose items from activewear company Lululemon.
